If I could visit only one place in Iceland, I wouldn’t hesitate a single second to choose Landmannalaugar. Thanks to a special chemical compound called rhyolite these mountains sparkle with surreal colors and remind you that life is everything but ordinary. Short afternoon hike to the top of Brennisteinsalda turned almost into a spiritual experience.
Why?
Once I saw all colors of rainbow around me, everything changed and yet remained the same. There’s not enough words to describe such beauty, you have to experience it on your own…
